"In Stillness, We Unfold" is a short, reflective series of abstract figures. "Ignition" captures  a moment of deep connection with oneself, where self-awareness sparks personal truth and inner strength.
 
For years, I felt like I was living in a rhythm that didn’t quite feel like mine. It was shaped by the expectations of those surrounding me and by routines that felt familiar but distant. Life was steady, predictable, but something felt off. I was doing what I was supposed to, but there was a quiet sense of waiting, as if something hadn’t started yet. The stillness that once felt safe started to feel heavy. Deep inside, I knew something had to change.
 
I don't remember the exact moment when it happened, but one day, I saw things differently. What had just started as glimpses of another version of life had grown into a realisation that I couldn’t keep moving in the same way. The life I had built, all the work I'd put into it that once made me happy now felt distant, it didn’t fit me anymore. The shroud of pretense needed to be burned away and underneath it all, I found something simpler, something real. I couldn’t go back to how things were before. I was present in a way I hadn’t been for a long time. 
 
This painting is all about that feeling, that first awareness of change and that ignition within you that burns through to the core, leaving just You. When you look at it, I hope you recognise those moments in yourself, the ones where you begin to see things differently, even if you are not yet sure what comes next.
