"The Sea Between Them" is part of a recent body of work exploring the balance between inner stillness and the dynamic ecosystems that surround me here in Asturias, Spain, and the human mark in the developing landscape. In this piece I look across the bay from the ancient fishing village of Tazones and its harbour wall, now fortified by dozens of monolithic concrete blocks, across the teal sea, towards the jurassic cliffs of Eastern Asturias.

The painting is stretched on a 3.5cm deep (1.5") wooden frame and continues around the sides, is varnished, wired ready for hanging and is signed on the front and back.
