MAGDALENA MOREY

"Prism" is a series of paintings that represent the things in life that bring small moments of pleasure and satisfaction which, when all combined together, give a sense of connection to the world around us and to what we hold dear. Gold leaf adds a temporal dimension to this series as it changes continually, depending on how and when the painting is viewed, whilst the perspex cover gives an unusual extra sense of depth and transparency.

 

Each painting is done on a 30x30cm sheet of plywood and is affixed to a 35x 35cm sheet of perspex using custom made fittings
